For now, just a place to share music.
I just changed it over to a WordPress site last night, and will be making lots of changes soon. Eventually, I’ll add song cover artwork, then videos.
In the meantime, check out a couple of the songs when you can, and tell me what you think.
I was going to create an individual post for each song, but I’ve decided instead to create pages for each song album.
Ryan and I spent a couple hours doing this one (in 1997, I think) using a Tascam 424. We started with 1 drum track and the piano, then added the guitar, another live drum track, then strings from the cheap-ass Yamaha PSR keyboard made in the early 90s. Getting the lighting of the match to record right probably took about 90 minutes of the 2 hours.
If I ever get around to creating a final version with my new equipment, I’ll make a piano intro less reminiscent of the Hill Street Blues theme. But that odd whistle will remain.
